Quran CMS takes donations for causes you choose. A donor either sends the money by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a bank and types the transaction ID, which you then confirm, or pays through a gateway that confirms the payment by itself.

The installer adds bKash, Nagad and Rocket switched off and with no number. Type your number into a method and turn it on. A mobile wallet that is on but has no real number (empty, or a placeholder such as 01XXXXXXXXX left from a version before 1.5.1) is not shown on the donation page; the list marks it number missing until you fill it in.

Causes

Admin → Donations → Causes lists what people can give to; drag to set their order. Four come with the site: General fund, Quran education, Build a masjid and Orphan care.

New cause or Edit opens the form: Name (English) (required) and Name (বাংলা), the Address (/donate/<address>), About in both languages, a Goal (0 means no goal and no progress bar), the Currency, Quick amounts such as 100,500,1000 (empty: the site-wide ones) and a Picture. On the right, under Show to the public:

• Taking donations: off closes the cause; it cannot be chosen or opened. Close / Open in the list does the same.
• Listed on the donation page: off hides it from the list, but it still works at its own address, which suits a private appeal.
• Progress towards the goal, Amounts raised and given and Names of donors: what visitors may see of this cause.

Deleting a cause keeps its donations under General.

Payment methods

Admin → Donations → Payment methods lists the ways to pay with their badges (manual or gateway, on or off, sandbox, keys missing). Drag them into the order donors see; Turn on / Turn off switches one. Add a new one from the card on the right:

• Bangladesh — manual: bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, Tap, Bank transfer, Cash / other.
• Automatic gateways: SSLCommerz, bKash Payment Gateway, aamarPay, shurjoPay, Stripe, PayPal.

Every method has a Name donors see, Instructions (English) and Instructions (বাংলা), Currencies (comma separated, the first is the default), Offered to donors and an optional Logo. A manual method also has the Number to send money to (for a bank, the Account number) and the Account type, such as Personal, Agent or Merchant.

A gateway needs the keys from your merchant panel:

A new gateway starts in Sandbox / test mode, which uses the provider's test system. Make a test donation, then switch it off to take real money. To keep a saved secret, leave its box empty. The form also lists the return, cancel and IPN / webhook addresses a provider may ask for. Advanced → API address is only for a provider that gave you a different server.

How a visitor donates

1. They open /donate or a cause's own page, choose a cause (or Where it is needed most) and an amount, and give their name, e-mail (for the receipt), phone and an optional message or dua. Do not show my name in public keeps them anonymous.
2. Under Pay with they pick a method.
   • Manual: your number appears with a Copy button and your instructions. They send the money, fill in Sent from (number / account) and Transaction ID, and submit.
   • Gateway: they go to the secure payment page and come back. The site asks the gateway's own server whether the money arrived before anything is marked paid.

An amount below the smallest amount is refused, and so is a transaction ID already used with the same method.

Confirming manual payments

New manual donations wait on the Waiting tab of Admin → Donations; the menu shows how many. Check your bKash, Nagad or bank statement, then press:

• Confirm: the money arrived. It becomes Received, counts in the totals, and the donor is e-mailed a receipt.
• Not received: it becomes Failed.

There are also Refunded, Back to waiting, the eye (hide or show this donation on the public list), the pen (a private note only admins see) and the bin.

A gateway donation whose donor never finished paying also stays under Waiting, without a transaction ID. Leave it or mark it Not received.

Filter by cause, method, dates or a search (name, phone, transaction ID, receipt). Export CSV downloads what the filter shows. Record a donation adds a gift that came another way, such as cash; it is recorded as received.

Receipts

Every donation has a printable receipt at /donate/receipt/<reference> with the amount, cause, method, transaction ID and date, and a Print / save as PDF button. Donors reach it from the thank-you page, from the e-mails and from My donations in their account.

The e-mails, whose words you can change under Admin → Settings → E-mail:

• Donation received (waiting to be confirmed): to the donor, right after a manual donation.
• Donation confirmed — the receipt: to the donor, when you or the gateway confirm it.
• To you: a donation to confirm: to the Send notices to address on Settings → General.

Donation settings

The Settings tab at the top of Admin → Donations:

• The donation page is open: off closes /donate to visitors; admins still see it.
• Show totals and progress, Show the list of recent donors, Show amounts in the donor list.
• Main currency, Smallest amount, Quick amounts.
• E-mail me when a manual donation needs confirming.
• E-mail donors a receipt when their donation is confirmed. This switch also covers the Donation received e-mail.

The dashboard figures

Admin → Dashboard shows the total received in the main currency with the number of donations, a chart of the last 14 days, the six latest donations with their status, and a link to those waiting. Only Received donations count in totals and progress bars.
